With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan Schumer of Smiths Grove, Kentucky, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on August 20, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert John and Pauline Lear Schumer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara East Schumer; his children, Tammy Ellrich (Mark), Ricky Schumer (Tammy), Sheila Barrett, Donald Schumer, Nickie Jones (Jimmy) and Shane Jordan (Jay); his siblings, Darlene Bird (Tim), Denise McEachern (Malcolm) and Noel Wilson; and his stepmother Joyce Tyson (Bob). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
