It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Joe Williams of Smiths Grove, Kentucky, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Williams and Lorene Young Williams; and his brothers, Jessie and Jimmy Ray Williams. He is survived by: his wife Alice Williams; his daughter Melissa Hutchins (Travis); his stepchildren, Courtney Cannon and Caleb Cannon; his grandchildren, Abbie, Taylor Keen, Kayden Cannon, Makylie Tryon and Carter McBee; his siblings, Charles Williams (Faye), Tommy Williams (Sharon), Billy Williams (Barbara), Johnny Williams (Gwen), Judy Hopper (Steve) and Linda Hendrick (Bobby); and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Williams and Joan Williams.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Oakland Baptist Church (410 Church St, Oakland, KY 42159). A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at the Smiths Grove Cemetery (270 Beeler Ave, Smiths Grove, KY 42171).
