Viva Holmes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2021, at the age of 96, Viva Holmes of Smithland, Kentucky passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Viva Holmes to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sister Mary Martha Wright; her son Gary Lee Holmes; her daughter-in-law Judy Holmes; her daughter Joyce Condra Hidalgo; her son-in-law Lionel Hidalgo; her parents, Cad Adam Dupriest and Vernal Alma Dupriest; and her brothers, Billy Dupriest, C. C. Brasher and Larry Davidson. She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nephews and nieces, as well as great nieces and nephews.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of flowers or donations to Friendship Baptist Church.
