She is survived by: her sons, David Shadle (Dianne) and Thomas Allen Shadle (Regina); and her siblings, George Buford Jr., Marvin Buford, Claire Quetermous, Peggy Monroe, Betty Hale and Martha Burroughs. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
