He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathy Jo Rushing Stephens; his son Corey Dale Stephens of West Plains, Missouri; his stepchildren, Danielle Jonae Rueter of Fort Worth, Texas and Joshua Matthew Rueter of Boise; his grandsons, Kohen Dale Stephens of Joplin, Evan Jace Stephens of West Plains, Missouri and Brayden Roberts of West Plains, Missouri; his brother David Wayne Stephens of Thompson, Missouri; and his half-brother Ronnie Sykes of Houlka, Mississippi. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
