She was predeceased by: her husband Elvis "Bugs" Joiner; her parents, Dallas Eugene and Sidney Alice Hyde; and her sisters, Dorothy Scott, Earlene Armstrong, Wanda DeMent and Joyce Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Edmonds (Tim) of Fort Wayne, IN and Gary Joiner (Mitzi) of Ledbetter, KY; her grandchildren, Kyle Joiner (Kelly) of Paducah and Dannielle Ballard (Justin) of Smithland; her great grandchildren, Kase Joiner, Drew Kate Joiner and Jackson Ballard; and her brother Boyce Hyde.
