With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Terry of Smithland, Kentucky, who passed away on March 13, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mary Lou departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary Lou may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary Lou leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Lisa Adam of Bristol, VA, Kelly Schwab of Colorado Springs, CO and James Garrison (Darlington, MD); her husband Jim Terry; and her brothers, Jerry Wolfe and Terry Wolfe of Smithland, KY. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a loving extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Chapel (319 E Adair St, Smithland, KY 42081). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
