He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Patton and Janet Patton; and his stepson James Dewayne Ferrell. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Patton of Smithland; his stepson Tony Ferrell; and his brothers, Frank Patton, Paul Patton and Roy Patton. He is also survived by three granddaughters, one grandson, three great-grandsons, two great-granddaughters; and several cousins.
