It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeff Franklin of Smithland, Kentucky, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Franklin and Vera Louise Franklin (Armstrong); and his brothers, Jerry Franklin and John Franklin. He is survived by: his children, Chris Franklin and Sarah Turner; and his siblings, Gary Hardesty, Carroll Franklin, Sanford Franklin, Judy Warran of Smithland and Cindy Layne of Smithland. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
