With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Jean Carroll Nelson of Smithfield, Kentucky, born in Winnebago, Minnesota, who passed away on January 9, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carroll and Audrey Carroll; and her brothers, David and James. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her sons, Chad Brennan (Melody) of Eau Claire, WI and Kevin Richgels (Lisa) of Austin, TX; her stepchildren, Kristofer Nelson (Gina) of Taylorsville, KY and Matthew Nelson (Loren) of Bedford, KY; her grandchildren, Sydney, Sam, Sonja and Stella Brennan; her stepdaughters, Zoe Richgels, Vivian and Gwendolyn Nelson; and her brothers, Bill (Ginger) of Clermont, FL and Todd (Carrie) of Northfield, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
