He is survived by: his children, Christopher Barnes of Bowling Green and Annabelle Barnes of Bowling Green; his sister Michelle Emerson Purdy (Preston) of Bonayr; and his aunt Martha "Kettle" Harrison of Glasgow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
