It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roderick Carter (Smith Mills, Kentucky), who passed away on March 15, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Vada Buckman Carter; his sons, Bob Carter (Melissa) and Cary Carter (Sandra); his grandchildren, Kristy Carter Epperson (Sean), Lydia Payton Carter and Ben Boaz; and his great grandchild Grace Epperson. He is also survived by one brother; two sisters; and nieces and nephews.
