He was predeceased by: his father Lee Sleyster; and his half-brother Michael Sleyster. He is survived by: his son Shane Sleyster of Nashville, TN; his stepson Dustin Barnett of Dawson Springs, KY; his mother Michelle Goodwin of Slaughters, KY; his sister Shelley Stringer (Brian) of Slaughters, KY; his half-sister Elaine Moll of Perryville, Missouri; and his brothers, Dale Sleyster of Perryville and Alan Sleyster of Perryville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
