He was predeceased by: his parents, Powell Rakestraw and Mary Frank Rakestraw; and his brother Terry. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Lorene Fulks; his children, Jason Rakestraw (Judith) of Slaughters, KY and Jennifer Windhorn (Mike) of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Mary Kate, Paige, Ella, Jaelyn, Anna, Emma Rakestraw, Katelyn, Isaac and Emily Windhorn; and his sisters, Ann Liggett of Dixon, KY and Sandra Olson of Slaughters, KY. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
