She was predeceased by: her parents, Veachel Farris and Ara Howard Farris; and her husband Sonny Ashby. She is survived by: her siblings, James Farris of Island, Paul Bryant Farris of Livermore and Virginia Drake of Livermore. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
