It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Hayden Gibson of Slaughters, Kentucky, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Sue Gibson; and his sisters, Lucille Brooks and Grace Newton. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Lawrence Gibson (Tonia) of Slaughters, KY, Mark Lynn Gibson of Alabama and Marshall Lewis Gibson (Chun-Yun) of Madisonville, KY; and his sister Wanda Gay Cumens of Slaughters, KY. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the West Lawn Cemetery.
