It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorris Wayne Helton of Slaughters, Kentucky, born in Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorris Helton and Katherine Virginia Miller Helton. He is survived by: his wife Doris Helton of Slaughters; his daughter Dana Shelton (Dustin) of Slaughters; his siblings, Darlene Liberto, Teletha Foster of Madisonville and Randy Helton of Madisonville; and his grandchildren, Bradley Shelton and McKinley Shelton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
