He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Winfield; and his half-brother Wesley Neal Higdon. He is survived by: his children, Cheyanna Thomas (Derrick) of Henderson, Kelsey Walker (Darryl) of Georgia, Kayla Miller of Sturgis, Kentucky and Jaccob Tyler Miller of Sturgis, Kentucky; his siblings, Candy Yates (Jeff) of Dixon, Coy Higdon (Darona) of Slaughters and Craig Higdon (Doyle Perry) of Central City, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Cameron, Autumn, Cadence, Remmy, Alyviah, Alanna and Elias. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
