She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Burns Rice and Ella Maude Rice; her husbands, Clarence Darrell Rice and Bobby Lyons; and her siblings, Randall Rice, Bryan "Peck" Rice, Charles Otis Rice, James Clarence Rice, Avis Lorain Fannin, Mary Ruth Green and Opal Loretta Shear.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Jason Rice (Tammy) of Staffordsville and Darrin Rice of Wittensville, Kentucky; her sister Phyllis Murray (Charles) of Sitka, Kentucky; her stepchildren, Becky Kretzer and Bobby Lyons (Melinda); her grandchildren, Patrick Rice (Kristen), Mallory Setser (Cody), Jacob Rice, Blair Rice and Grant Rice; her great grandchild Mila Stephens; and her stepgrandchildren, Kim, Stacey, Austin and Brooke. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
