He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Blanton and Connie Drydan Blanton. He is survived by: his children, Jason E. Blanton of Sitka, KY, Christopher Blanton of Wittensville, KY, Shawn Brady Blanton of Stambaugh, KY., Teresa Russell of Salyersville, KY and Mindy Ashley Blanton of Salyersville, KY. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Preston Funeral Home (136 Main St, Paintsville, KY 41240). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
