It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Edward Tackett of Sitka, Kentucky, who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edward Tackett and Nina Richardson Tackett; and his daughter Melissa Ann Tackett Newman. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Tackett; his son Keith Edward Tackett (Brandi); his siblings, Joe Lee Tackett of Wayne, Harry Allen Tackett of Staffordsville, Billy Franklin Tackett of Graffton Ohio, Nina Sue Dolley of South Webster, Geraldine Rae Keeton of Brushy and Vicky McCullen of Clarksville; and his grandchildren, Zachary Clay Newman and Chase Newman.
