He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Sparks and Betty Cavins Sparks; and his brother Garry Meade. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Skaggs Sparks; his son Brian Sparks (Jennifer) of West Virginia; his stepchildren, Corbet Fred Ferguson (Shelly) of West Virginia and Shonie Lemaster of Sitka, Kentucky; and his brothers, Rick Sparks (Pat) and Larry Meade of Sitka, Kentucky. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
