With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rachel Ann Scott (Shively, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Scott; her parent Murl Womack; her sister Donna Summers; and her son-in-law Dwayne "Cotton" Walker. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Walker, Brenda Luking (David) and Carlene Braun (Rick); her grandchildren, Shelly Walker, Elizabeth Shelburne (Stephen), Ben Luking (Maggie), Rebecca Rowan (Michael), Amanda Jeftinija (Duśan) and Adam Braun; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary, Luke, Sarah, Hannah, Annabelle, Jacoby, Caroline, McKenzie, Amelia, Caleb, Connor, Mila, Emma and Nikolas; and her sister Judy Nesbit. She is also survived by extended family and close friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216).
