She was predeceased by: her husband Willis H. Brandenburg, Sr.; her parents, Reverend John Gilbert and Nora Gilbert; and her siblings, Icie Gilbert, Johnathon, Riley, Carl, Andrew, Paul and Nathaniel Gilbert.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Brandenburg, Willis H. Brandenburg, Jr. (Mary Anne) and Johnathan Brandenburg; her grandchildren, Erin Bourne (Jeffery) and Matthew Brandenburg; and her great grandchildren, Braxton and Brenalynn Bourne.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Arch L. Heady & Son (3601 Taylor Blvd, Louisville, KY 40215). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Lebanon National Cemetery (20 State Hwy 208, Lebanon, KY 40033).
