He was predeceased by: his children, Kendall Brown and Scott Brown; his parents, Hallie Brown and John M. Brown; and his siblings, Margaret Clites and Johnny Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Brown (Patterson); his children, Dana Dever (Mark) and Max Brown; and his sister Jean Bryant. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
