He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda; his parents, Charles Dawson and Glennie Dawson; his daughter Deanna Salazar; and his grandchildren, Hannah and Taran.
He is survived by: his children, Glen Dawson (Kristin), Jennifer Hoehler (Erich), Brent Dawson and Chad Dawson (Janie); his son-in-law John Salazar (Colleen); and his siblings, Anna F Crockett, Mary B Rising (Bill) and Charles E Dawson (Peggy). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
