He was predeceased by: his son Gary Wayne Bland; his parents, Orvil Gilpin and Ruth Gilpin; and his brother Phillip Gilpin. He is survived by: his children, Steven Bland and Lisa Scanlon (Rick); his siblings, Sue Ursery, Shirley Trammel and Dwight Gilpin; and his grandchildren, Harrison Scanlon, Cadence "Camren" Bland, Kenzie Scanlon and Cassidy Bland.
