He was predeceased by: his parents, Balford Amburgey and Virginia Ritchie Amburgey. He is survived by: his wife Diane Ritchie Amburgey; his sons, James Everett Amburgey (Ashley) of Shepherdsville, KY. and Johnny Wayne Amburgey of Shepherdsville, KY.; and his grandson Donovan Everett Amburgey.
