With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willard Burkhead of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, born in Washington, Kentucky, who passed away on April 17, 2021 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Jean Burkhead; his son-in-law Danny Gentry; his parents, Charlie Burkhead and Katie Hudson Burkhead; and his siblings, Leon, Cleo Burkhead, Doris Humes and Mary Lee Case.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Wright and Linda Gentry; his siblings, James "Buddy", Charles "Junior" Burkhead, Flora Mae Auberry, Dulah Benham and Carolyn Hardin; and his grandchildren, Andrew (Sarah), Sarah (John), Erica (Brennan), Benjamin (Myranda) and Sophia. He is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren.
