He is survived by: his son T. J. Edmonds; his sisters, Alice Brooks and JoAnn Nichols; his grandsons, Jacob Edmonds and Hunter Edmonds; his fiancée Kathy Thomas; his nieces and nephews, Jamie Thornton, David Thornton, Kevin Thornton, Andi Nichols, Derek Edmonds, Josh Edmonds, Brittany Wilcher and Jennifer Bishop; and his stepchildren, Sabrina Tinnell, Tonya Druin and Robin Mattingly.
