It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven A. Carstens (Shepherdsville, Kentucky), born in Vine Grove, Kentucky, who passed away on February 27, 2020, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Carstens and Anna Harl Carstens; and his siblings, Jackie, Becky, Kevin, Clyde and Michael Carstens.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Carstens; his stepchildren, Chrissalyn Sharp and Charles Pettit; his grandchildren, Gracelee, Preston and Dakota; his siblings, Patrick Carstens and Lottie Hukaby; his great-aunt Flora Amos; his siblings-in-law, Gary McCawley, Janice McCawley and Sharon Robertson; and his mother-in-law Rachel McCawley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
