He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dorsey and Maggie Dorsey; his wife Elizabeth "Bet" Dorsey; and his siblings, Jim Dorsey, Trudy Riggs and Louise Madden.
He is survived by: his niece Debbie Ray (Ron); his great-niece Erica Ray; his great-nephews, Brandon Ray, Travis Ray and Jared Ray; his brother Bill "Willie" Dorsey; and also Harrison.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hardy-Close Funeral Home (285 S Buckman St, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home (285 S Buckman St, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Cedar Gove Cemetery.
