He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mudd and Hallie Mae Mudd; and his son Roy A. Glidewell III. He is survived by: his wife Debra Mudd; his children, Randall L. Glidewell (Virginia) of Louisville, Richard C. Mudd of Mt. Washington and Kristan N. Mudd (Jacques) of Paris, KY; his grandchildren, Caitlin Ferguson (Luke), Lauren Glidewell, Ellie Mudd and Jada Nemeth; and his great grandchild Mason Thomas Ferguson. He is also survived by family members and friends.
