He is survived by: his wife Sarah Salings; his children, Melissa Pratt (Jimmy) of Hillview, Sheri Gooden (Bob) of Shepherdsville, Rick Salings (Tracy) of Hebron and Theresa Clifford (Billy) of Brooks; his siblings, Darlen Mullen, Ruth Coleman, Timmy Salings (Carol), Steve Salings, James Salings, Jr. (Dana), Nancy Schmidt and Laura Stiner; and his grandchildren, Jim Pratt, Brandi Haynes, Gregory, Abigail Rogers, Kelly, Trey Salings, William and Wyatt Clifford. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, numerous feline friends, extended family, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Maraman Billings Funeral Home (605 Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
