It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Knapper (Shepherdsville, Kentucky), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Donald Knapper, Sr.; and his close friend John Penrose. He is survived by: his mother Teresa Lynn (Mikesell); his brothers, Jody D. Knapper (Jennifer Ferguson), Gregory S. Knapper (Shawn) and Michael William Knapper (Brandi); his nieces and nephews, Joey, Sarah, Sienna, Sierra, Kellan and Ryann; his great-nephew Jameson; and his girlfriend Angie Penrose. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, friends and family.
