He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel Gordon Payne; and his parents, Raymond Sr. Payne and Pearl Wren Payne. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Payne (Kris) of Mt. Washington, KY and David Payne (Valarie) of Shepherdsville, KY; his siblings, Bobby Payne (Dolly), Ruby Hopper, Esther Van Arsdall, Nancy Conley and Emma Hardin; his grandchildren, Bradley Payne, Kristi Marksberry, Crissi Payne and Kayla Payne; and his great grandchildren, Lylah Payne, Alyssa Banks and Destiny Marksberry.
