He is survived by: his wife Brenda Duff; his children, Trish Nelson (John) of Shepherdsville, Ray Allen Duff of Louisville, Russell Hack Jr. of Georgia and James Hack of Shepherdsville; and his brother James Duff (Doris) of Shepherdsville. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
