He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Royer and Kathryn Royer. He is survived by: his wife Melody Rankin Royer; his sons, David (Kristine) and Danny Shaw (Celeste); and his close friends, Larry and Ruth Mattingly. He is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
