She was predeceased by: her parents, Beverly Tipton and Beulah "Trimble" Tipton; and her husband Onlie Lane. She is survived by: her children, Ricky Lane and Tena Lane; her grandchildren, Lena Smith and Justin Lane (Cynthia); her great grandchildren, Olivia Smith and Delilah Lane; and her siblings, Waveline Embs (Herby), Sherry Kinnard (Bobby), Tracy Tipton (Sharon) and James Tipton (Rose).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Peggy Lane.
