He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edward and Helen Noe Troutman; his son Paul Troutman Jr.; and his siblings, Burby Ray Troutman and Jerry Lee Troutman.

He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Lynn Farris (Neal) of Louisville; and his sister Lois Crump.
