He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Cruise and Virginia Dawson Cruise; his son George Ryan Cruise; and his brothers, Boots Cruise and Joseph Cruise.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Pottinger Cruise; his children, Bryan Cruise (Loren) and Marcy Cruise (Michael); his grandchildren, Marissa, Natalie, Michael Jr., Xander and Matthew; his siblings, Sedonia Williams and Mary Ann Phillips; his sisters-in-law, Martha Cruise and Cindy Cruise; and also, Katharine Cruise (Nick) and Joanna Reider (Mitch).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Calendar Maraman Billings Funeral Home (605 Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A memorial service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Maraman Billings Funeral Home (605 Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165).
