She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel C. Sergent and Polly Ann Sergent (Taylor); her husband Phillip Quinton Adams; and her siblings, Richard Ray Sergent, Henry Warren Sergent, Chester Sergent, Ronald Buford, Ethel Sanders, Emma Lou Engle and Sarah Sergent.

She is survived by: her children, Christy Ann Jackie (John) and Calvin Phillip Adams (Mary); her sister Anna Goins; and her pet Coco.
