She is survived by: her son Eric Scott Elwell (Jennifer) of Shepherdsville; her siblings, Shirley Hall and Larry Summers of Shepherdsville; and her grandchildren, Eden Wray (Colin) and Lane Elwell.
She was presented with a certificate of appreciation for her dedication and was awarded for her exemplary commitment to education, her exceptional contributions to school administration, and for bringing honor to her colleagues and profession.
