He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael E. Bratcher and Martha J. Bratcher; his son Adam Smallwood; his sister Gail Bratcher; and his grandparents, Geneva and Erhman Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Andy Smallwood (Bridget) of Shepherdsville and Arron Smallwood (Tara) of Taylorsville; his sister Shawna Newton (Tony) of Elizabethtown; his niece Jessica Gould (Chris) of Shepherdsville; his great-niece Destiny Cross; and his great-nephew Brendon Cross.
