It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marylou Douglas of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 25, 2021, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Bill Akridge and Elisie Osborne. She is survived by: her husband Derrick Douglas; her parents, Gerald Akridge and Teresa Jeffries; her stepfather Gary Gerwitz; her sons, Caleb, Jaxson and Kamdyn Douglas; her siblings, Richard Bewley (Jessie), Cassandra Pierce (Kyle), Angel Akridge, Amber Akridge and Elisha Strickland; her grandparents, Betty and Jerry Jeffries Sr.; and her aunts and uncles, Tammy (Jerry Logsdon), Jerry (Robin Jeffries), Billy Akridge, Robert (Michelle Akridge) and Kathy (Luke Clark). She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
