She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brey and Josephine Nalley Brey; and her siblings, Doris Clan, Beulah Devers, Elizabeth Greenwell, John E. and Lewis Brey.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth F. Gibson; her children, Eugenia Butler (Billy Dale) of Sonora, Venita Hawkins (Bruce) of Mt, Sherman Hawkins, Viola Hawkins (Walter) of Summersville, Kenneth Ray Gibson (Shelia) of Campbellsville, Joey Gibson (Karen) of Campbellsville and Dorman Gibson (Debbie) of Tennessee; and her siblings, Fredaline Clark of Bardstown, Nancy Devers of Howardstown, Kenneth A. Brey (Carol) of Shepherdsville and Ramey Brey (Jackie) of Hodgenville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
