In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Louis had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Louis may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Elmore; his wife Shirley Tucker Elmore; and his son Michael Elmore. He is survived by: his children, Marcus Elmore (Carol) and Sherry Whitehouse (Brian); and his half-sisters, Dee Dee and Linda. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
