She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Stasel and Nora Stasel; her husband Thomas Gilbert; her children, Wayne T. Gilbert and Linda F. Parker; and her sisters, Naomi Gilbert and Gladys Riggs.

She is survived by: her daughter Janet Scaparo (Pete); her brother George Blevens; and her great grandchild Matthew Richardson. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
