He is survived by: his wife Betty Whitener; his children, Sandy Oerther (David) of Shepherdsville and Tony Whitener (Laurie) of Shepherdsville; his sisters, Thelma Cundiff of Louisville and Emma Younce of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Joshua Oerther (Brittany), Jacob Whitener (Amanda) and Joanna Whitener; and his great grandchildren, Alex Oerther, Makayla Oerther and Jaxson Whitener. He is also survived by family members and friends.
