With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lena Short (Shepherdsville, Kentucky), born in Morgantown, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Buster McKinney and Ida "Pendly" McKinney; her husband William Lear Short; and her siblings, Lavelle Barrow, Sherman McKinney and Junior McKinney.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Short and Greg Short (Grace); her grandchildren, Steven Short and Amber Burtch; her great grandchildren, Adelaide Grace Burtch and Abel Burtch; and her siblings, Floyd McKinney (Sue), Brenda Cardwell (Dallas) and Dot Casey.
